6-cylinder gasoline engine M52TU has a head of cylinders and the cylinder block from an aluminium alloy. The alloy has the improved heat conductivity and smaller weight in comparison with pig-iron. 4-klapannaja the head of cylinders has two cam shafts with a drive gear from a chain with the gear of regulation of cam shafts VANOS. Thus both cam shafts depending on number of revolutions and engine loading turn concerning a corresponding sprocket so that to receive the optimum moment of opening of valves.
