3.0 l V-shaped 6-cylinder 24-valves diesel engine with direct injection of fuel are established cross-section in an impellent compartment. The engine is completely made of aluminium. Considered cars are completed with a turbo engines DOHC (with the cam shafts located in the top part and with 4 valves on the cylinder) volume from 2.0 to 3.0 l. Their number includes 4-cylinder gasoline engines (2.0 and 2.3) and also petrol and diesel engines V6 (3.0).
4-cylinder engines are equipped by two balancing shaft. Balancing shaft are intended for prevention of vibrations from moving parts of the engine, and also for noise drop at engine work. The cylinder block cast, with the pierced cylinders and oil ports, and also tunnels with aluminium bearings of balancing shaft. Cam shafts are resulted from a bent shaft by a chain. Cam shafts operate on valves directly, through hydraulic pushers. Pushers are regulated automatically according to change of length of the valve depending on temperature. Pushers work in an oil bath and are greased through the oil port in a cylinder block head.

In a lubricating system of the engine pressure of oil is forced by the pump located in a cover of a chain of drive gear ГРМ and resulted by a bent shaft. Oil arrives in the pump from a crankcase oil pan through a mesh oil tray and a tube. The valve located in a cover of a chain of drive gear ГРМ is intended for restriction of pressure of oil by return of surplus of oil on soaking up port of the pump. Oil from the pump through the port in the cylinder block goes to an oil filter.

For blanking out of vibrations at engine work on turns from single to 1800 rpm hydraulic engine bearers (rear and right a lobby) are used.
