Audi A4 engine diagram - Audi A4 gasoline engines diagrams
Audi A4 4-cylinder gasoline engines:
1.6 l (ALZ): the Engine with one camshaft (OHC). The Cam shaft is located in a head of cylinders and set in motion by a toothed belt. The shaft operates on the hydraulic pushers located vertically which in turn influence on inlet and outlet valves.
1.8 and 2.0 l (AVJ, BFB, ALT): the Engine with two camshafts (DOHC), has for each cylinder three inlet and two outlet valves. One cam shaft actuates inlet valves, another final. The cam shaft of outlet valves is set in motion from a bent shaft through a toothed belt. Cam shafts inlet and outlet valves are connected with each other by a chain.
2.0 l FSI (AWA): the Engine with two camshafts (DOHC), has for each cylinder on two inlet and an outlet valve.
