Daewoo Matiz engine four-cycle, with water cooling and three cylinders with a working volume of 769 sm3 (68,5х72,0 mm). Engine lubricant is carried out under the pressure created by the oil pump, located on cranked to a shaft from a crankshaft pulley.

The cylinder block head is executed from a cast aluminium alloy for improvement of strength, hardness and weight reduction. The cam shaft and a rocker pivot are located linearly. The cylinder block the greatest detail of the engine, to its external surface all necessary details fasten. In the cylinder block there are bores for prevention of an overheat and for cylinder block lubricant.

It is made of the elastic strengthened rubber and does not demand some lubricant. Daewoo Matiz engine mount is intended for absorption or kickdown of vibration of the engine and pushes from roughnesses of a road carpet. The engine mount is fixed in front, rear and right parts of the engine, and one suspender is attached from a gear box.
